WHAT IS OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING?
Olympic weightlifting is a competitive sport that involves lifting a weighted barbell from the ground to overhead. It is a test of strength, speed, and flexibility, and is a full-body exercise that can help develop body awareness and increase muscle fiber diameter.

Our class is a comprehensive guide to learning and demonstrating the two major compound lifts:

Clean & Jerk, and the Snatch

These two lifts comprise the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, and serve to improve strength, speed, and power of the athletes who participate.

Coach Erin is a board certified athletic trainer that specializes in biomechanics, strength and conditioning, and pre/post injury rehabilitation. She has an extensive background in Olympic Weightlifting mechanics. She was an athlete on the national stage since 2015 either competing in track and field or Olympic Weightlifting.
